The Mechanical Maintenance Technician Role
The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of plant and equipment. This position involves both reactive and proactive maintenance tasks, contributing to the installation and commissioning of new equipment, and supporting the development of other engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain plant and equipment, both reactively and proactively
- Assist in safety improvements
- Systematically establish the cause of equipment failure and identify root causes
- Communicate relevant information with colleagues and ensure efficient handovers

About You – Mechanical Maintenance Technician
As a Maintenance Technician, you will bring a strong background in mechanical engineering and maintenance.
Additional Requirements
- Minimum standard of ONC/OND/HND/HNC/NVQIII or equivalent in Maintenance/Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in mechanical fault finding, installation, and maintenance of a range of heavy engineering equipment
- Preparedness to work at height
