Our client, a long established privately owned manufacturing business, is currently looking for an Operations/Manufacturing Supervisor to join their team on a permanent basis.
This role will provide a Manufacturing Supervisor the opportunity to work with a well established business who have ambitious plans moving forward. With the recent opening of a new facility, you will be joining the business at an exciting growth phase of their journey.
This role offers an opportunity to work 4 days per week, Monday – Thursday.

The Operations/Manufacturing Supervisor
Working alongside the Operations Manager and Assistant Ops Manager, the Operations/Manufacturing Supervisor will be responsible for providing a hands-on leadership role across all aspects of the production facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule factory work to optimise resources and meet budget and quality standards.
- Implement strategies to improve efficiency and ensure timely delivery.
- Assist Operations Manager with production, quality, cost, delivery, safety, and HR goals.
- Manage daily production to meet targets and objectives.
- Ensure staff follow health, safety, and operating procedures.
- Use Lean tools to reduce costs and improve quality.
About You
As Operations/Manufacturing Supervisor, you will have proven experience of fostering a positive culture through effective communication and problem-solving. You will also be a confident leader with the ability to train teams, control absences, resolve safety issues, and motivate staff.
Minimum Requirements:
- IT literate; experience with ERP or MRP systems is ideal.
- Previous supervisory or management experience in a modern manufacturing environment is essential.
- Experience with modern manufacturing systems and tools.
- Must have excellent attention to detail.
