We are working with a well-established, growing engineering consultancy looking to appoint a Graduate Structural Engineer to join their Glasgow team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Graduate Structural Engineer to kick-start their career in a supportive, collaborative environment, working on a wide range of building projects while developing towards chartership.

The Role

As a Graduate Structural Engineer, you’ll join a team delivering structural design solutions across residential, commercial and industrial projects, gaining exposure from concept through to construction. This Graduate Structural Engineer role is designed to help you develop into a Project Engineer with structured support and hands-on experience from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in structural design calculations
  • Produce and review drawings, sketches and specifications
  • Support senior engineers on live projects
  • Attend site visits and assist with inspections
  • Liaise with clients, architects and contractors
  • Contribute to reports and documentation
  • Participate in meetings and team coordination
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams
