We are working with a well-established, growing engineering consultancy seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their Glasgow office. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer to take on a hands-on, project-leading role within a collaborative and forward-thinking business delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
The Role
As a Senior Civil Engineer, you’ll play a key role in the design and delivery of civil engineering projects across residential, commercial and industrial developments. This role suits a Senior Civil Engineer who enjoys owning projects, mentoring others, and working closely with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as Project / Senior Civil Engineer on a range of developments
- Lead roads and drainage design, including calculations
- Coordinate planning and approvals with authorities
- Prepare and review reports, designs and specifications
- Carry out site inspections and monitor quality
- Liaise with clients, architects, contractors and teams
- Mentor junior engineers and support project delivery
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a Senior Civil Engineer or similar
- Strong roads and drainage design background
- Proficiency in PDS, WINDES or similar
- Development project experience
- Leadership ability and progress toward chartership
