Our client is a successful manufacturing company based in the North East, supplying to the major FMCG brands and big 4 supermarket chains. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Shift Maintenance Engineer to join the business, based at their manufacturing facility. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this is a key position within the business with a high level of accountability and responsibility.
This role is 12 hour shifts with an attractive shift pattern. The successful candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Implementation of PPM/TPM schedules across a range of high speed print machinery including PLC's
- Breakdown repair
- Ensuring KPI's are achieved for health and safety, machine reliability
- Involvement in continuous improvement and cap-ex projects
We are ideally seeking an experienced multi skilled Engineer with a Mechanical bias. A proven track record in maintenance gained within print, packaging or high volume FMCG environment is essential. Technically strong, with the ability to work as a team, supporting production in driving improvements and machine reliability.
