Our client, Cambridge Weight Plan (CWP) are currently looking for a Graduate Developer to join their team in Corby on a permanent basis.
CWP was created by biochemist Dr Alan Howard and his colleague Dr Ian McLean-Baird as they sought to develop the "perfect diet". Their formula produced excellent weight loss results and following many years of research, the first commercial version of Cambridge Weight Plan, known then as The Cambridge Diet, was launched in the UK in 1984. Since then more than 30 million people from all over the world have used Cambridge Weight Plan.
Products are manufactured by Cambridge Weight Plan Ltd which is based in Corby, Northants, UK. Operating from three sites at Weldon North Industrial Estate, CWP currently employ more than 220 full time staff.
This role reports into the Head of IT and would assist the IT department in providing, maintaining and developing the organisation's IT systems and infrastructure, including the core IFS solution used throughout the business. The company infrastructure runs on a VMware environment, hosting 12 virtual servers, supporting 140+ users. The department is also responsible for our hosted VoIP telephony, as well as mobile devices and connectivity. It also has overall responsibility for a fleet of 30+ printers.
Key Responsibilities
- To work with all areas of the business to identify business improvement opportunities and become an 'IFS Champion’.
- To map business processes and to align/improve the use of IFS.
- Create all relevant documentation and manuals.
- As requested by the Head of I.T. or other users, to assist in developing functional use of IFS.
- Become a lead role in the IFS Super User Group, along with the Business Analyst.
- Undertake other duties and tasks that from time to time may be allocated to the jobholder that are appropriate to the grade of the job.
- Comply with all relevant internal rules, policy and procedures, including those relating to Health and Safety, GDPR etc, and all those contained within the issued Employee Handbook.
Education/Experience:
- Educated to degree level, (minimum 2:1)
- Excellent communication skills
- Report writing
- Team working
- Work experience within a company or organisation using IFS or similar ERP system would be preferred but not essential
Salary/Benefits:
- £20,000 - £25,000 depending on experience
