Our client is a successful FMCG manufacturing business, part of a Global group. An opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service Co‑ordinator to join them based at the modern manufacturing facility in County Durham.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in Customer Service and the administration of complex business to build and develop communication channels between the customer and the manufacturing plant and also to ensure that sales budgets are met.

Other responsibilities and duties will include the following:

  • Internal management of specific existing accounts and the organic development of new business
  • Provision of accurate forecasts and management of stock
  • Act as external interface with customer contacts
  • Ensure targets are met in relation to volume and margin
  • Bring in customer SLA targets and ensure that they are met

Candidates will have good commercial/business awareness coupled with excellent communication skills as well as being highly self-motivated who works well under pressure. Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workload are of equal importance. Exposure to a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
