We are seeking a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client, a world-leading FMCG manufacturing company with multiple sites across the UK. This is a permanent role based in Chelmsford.

About the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer position
The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for executing both planned and unplanned maintenance activities, ensuring all site assets are maintained to a high standard and meet site requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out breakdown repair across a range of production equipment including mechanical and electrical systems, with a focus on improving reliability and maximising production output.
- Use SAP to capture all maintenance activities (training provided).
- Provide functional support and expertise to attain engineering standards across the site.
About You
The ideal candidate will be practical and knowledgeable in maintenance engineering, with the ability to read and understand engineering drawings. Must possess PLC programming experience and proven training record (S5, S7 and AB). You will be target-driven, willing to learn, and possess strong interpersonal skills. Teamwork, inquisitiveness, analytical thinking, adaptability, and flexibility are essential traits for this role.
