We're looking for a talented Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join our growing planning and design team. With an expanding client base and a strong pipeline of new residential and commercial projects, this is an excellent opportunity for someone ready to take ownership of planning applications and grow into a client-facing role.
About the Role
You'll work closely with our senior design team, taking projects from concept through to planning submission. This role suits someone with solid technical grounding who is confident developing design concepts, understands UK planning policy, and can present ideas clearly to clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the preparation of planning applications from concept to submission
- Develop strong design concepts in line with client briefs and planning policy requirements
- Prepare and deliver clear, professional presentations to clients and internal teams
- Liaise with local planning authorities and respond to planning queries
- Collaborate with architects, planners, and project managers across live projects
- Support and eventually lead client relationships as experience develops
About You
- Part 2 qualified (MArch or equivalent), currently working toward Part 3
- Strong conceptual design ability and a good eye for detail
- Solid understanding of UK planning policy and process
- Confident presentation skills, comfortable communicating directly with clients
- Ambition to grow into a client-facing or leadership role within the team
- Strong communication and organisational skills; able to manage multiple projects at once
