Help our team deliver high level coaching to students. In this role you'll gain practical experience working with international children and young people, delivering and supporting coaching sessions alongside experienced Head Coaches. You'll benefit from mentoring by industry professionals, including Ex-Olympians and leading brands (such as Arsenal Football Development and Acosta Dance Foundation), learning best practices in coaching, teaching and student engagement. The role develops transferable skills in leadership, teamwork, communication, responsibility, safeguarding, problem‑solving, and adapting to a fast‑paced multicultural educational environment. Main Roles and Accountability
- Share responsibility for the welfare, well‑being and happiness of all Exsportise students throughout their stay.
- Deliver high‑quality coaching plans, including warm‑up, stretching, cool‑down and exercise setup.
- Assist with recording level testing and progress reporting for each player.
- Engage with students during breaks, encourage positive behaviour, ensure camp rules are followed and foster social interaction.
- Ensure all activity and sports equipment is prepared, well‑maintained and safely stored after use.
- Support the organisation and running of evening events led by Events Managers, promoting student engagement and participation.
- Take an active role in supervising students on weekend excursions and assisting with student arrivals and departures.
- Carry out mealtime, wake‑up and bedtime duties on a rota basis, managing registers and ensuring student safety and integration in boarding houses.
- Actively encourage students to attend activities, eat well and interact socially.
- Foster inclusion and maintain a supportive, energetic atmosphere across all activities and boarding areas, acting as a positive role model.
- Follow all guidelines in the Staff Handbook and instructions from senior staff, including safeguarding, child protection and incident reporting policies.

- Assist with camp set‑up and pack‑down.
- Undertake any reasonable tasks as requested.

Job Specific Personal Specification & Qualifications
To be suitable for this role, you possess native or near‑native competence in English (minimum CEFR C1 level) and hold at least a valid entry‑level coaching qualification in your chosen activity or have extensive coaching / playing experience at national league level or equivalent. You motivate and engage students of varying ages and abilities with good communication and interpersonal skills, bringing an enthusiastic, approachable, friendly and reliable attitude that shows initiative. You adapt flexibly to changing schedules and duties, adhere to safeguarding and child protection policies, maintain professionalism in appearance, conduct and language, and fully participate in camp life including supervising meals, free time and excursions. You commit to being fully present during activities by limiting personal phone usage to maximise interactions and act as a positive role model, demonstrate cultural sensitivity for inclusive work with diverse groups, take initiative beyond duties and embrace feedback for continuous professional development.
Eligibility
All staff must be over the age of 18 and must have completed secondary school or college at least one year prior to joining us. This safeguarding measure is in place to protect both our students and our staff. Staff must be medically fit for their role; where necessary, reasonable adjustments will be discussed and made. All staff must pass employment checks, including confirmation that they are not barred from working with children. It is a criminal offence for any person who is barred from working with children to attempt to apply for a position with us. Working with Exsportise involves direct contact with vulnerable children and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
