  • You prepare detailed session plans and records, providing them for Head Coach or Centre Manager review, continually assessing and managing risks for safe activity delivery.
  • You assist with level testing and weekly progress reports, maintain sports equipment condition and storage, and contribute to sports workshops covering topics like mental performance, physical health, cultural awareness, leadership, and performance analysis.

Additional Duties:

  • You support student well‑being and happiness, supervise mealtimes on a rota basis ensuring good behaviour and health safety.
  • You assist with evening events when your sport sessions are limited or staffing is ample.
  • You carry out wake‑up, bedtime, and fire safety duties ensuring students are settled and safe.
  • You help with airport transfers, excursions, and check‑ins / outs to ensure smooth, safe transitions.
  • You participate in daily briefings for updates and coordination, adhere to Staff Handbook and Centre Manager guidelines ensuring professionalism, and undertake any additional reasonable tasks to support team flexibility.

About you:

All staff are responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the centre while upholding the highest standards of safety and care. Job Specific Personal Specification & Qualifications:

  • To be suitable for this role, you hold the minimum qualification recognised in the UK to coach independently as well as valid First Aid and Safeguarding Children certificates.
  • If coaching qualifications are lower than this (i.e. level 1) you are expected to have extensive coaching experience and / or professional, semi‑professional, or national league playing experience.
  • You are able to motivate children and young adults of all abilities, with strong leadership skills, a hardworking nature, enthusiasm, friendliness, and willingness to engage fully in all camp aspects.
