Complete DNV inspections on lifting equipment / pressure testing of offshore tank containers under IMDG. Creation of certification for DNV offshore tank containers.
Functional Responsibilities:
- Fast turnaround of maintenance on offshore DNV tank containers.
- Potential to work on internals and confined spaces – general cleaning of tank containers.
- Testing of lifting equipment under DNV2.7-1 (preferable but not essential).
- Pressure testing (preferable but not essential).
- Return maintenance/checks on units.
- Polishing of internals on tank containers.
- Reporting of damage/pitting on returned units.
- Working on Excel to report on/off hires of units.
Core Competencies:
- LEEA Qualified (preferable but not essential).
- Previous experience on lifting equipment.
- Certification creation and maintenance.
- Pressure testing background (preferable but not essential).
Non-Compulsory Requests:
- Working at heights (if course has not been completed, this can be arranged for the right candidate).
- IOSH Approved confined spaces (if course has not been completed, this can be arranged for the right candidate).
- Forklift license (preferable but not essential).
- Manual Handling (training can be arranged for the right candidate if this has not been completed).
