Overall Purpose of the Job
Working under general supervision within a Workshop environment. Carrying out maintenance, diagnoses and repairs to a range of equipment & undertaking the preparation of equipment to Company standards for use within an operational environment.
Key Activities And Accountabilities
- Undertake the preventative & predictive maintenance; diagnoses and repair of equipment in line with work plans up to Company quality/certification standards
- Assist with the rigging up, building and rigging down of equipment
- May be required to drive a forklift to undertake the movement , loading and unloading of equipment provided current driving qualification held
- Undertake required inspections of equipment, preparing the appropriate documentation to ensure compliance with company policies
- Up-date job packs and return to the foreman/supervisor at the end of each work period
- Liaise with internal departments i.e logistics & stores to ensure all required components & movement of items is achieved in line with operational requirements
- Actively participate in morning meetings to discuss safety, maintenance status/tasks, mobilisation/demobilisation updates etc.,

- Carry out daily housekeeping of work place and tools
Job Knowledge And Qualifications
- Technical Qualification in a related field
- Previous work experience preferably in the related product line including but not limited to:-
- Maintenance of Electronic & Mechanical based downhole tools
- Fault finding & repair of downhole tools
- Knowledge of Memory based & Eline based Surface Systems
