Expro are currently recruiting for a Senior Workshop/Maintenance Technician – Well Intervention to join the Well Intervention team based in Aberdeen .
Overall Purpose of the Job
Working within a Workshop environment carrying out maintenance, diagnosis and repairs to a range of Well Intervention Pressure Control equipment. Undertake the preparation of equipment to Company standards in a safe manner for use within an operational environment.
Key Activities And Accountabilities
- Undertake preventative & predictive maintenance, diagnoses & repair of Well Intervention Pressure Control equipment in line with work plans up to Company quality/certification standards
- Assist with the rigging up, building and rigging down of equipment as required
- May be required to drive a forklift and operate a gantry crane to undertake the movement, loading and unloading of equipment
- Undertake required inspection of equipment and prepare the appropriate documentation to ensure compliance with company’s policies, procedures and practices
- Report all incidents and non-conformances in line with the appropriate procedures and deadlines
- Update job packs and return to the Co-ordinator/Supervisor at the end of each work period
- Liaise with various internal departments such as logistics and stores to ensure all required components and movement of items is achieved to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Actively participate in morning meetings to discuss safety, maintenance status/tasks, mobilisation/demobilisation updates etc
- Use Stop Work Authority; participate in Positive Intervention Programme
- Undertake direction, basic job training and supervision on tasks for technicians when required
- Liaise with Supervisor, team members and operations personnel as and when required to ensure all aspects of the schedule of work are discussed with the relevant parties
Job Knowledge And Qualifications
- Technical Qualification
- Certified to drive B1 FLT and operate gantry crane
- Previous experience related to maintenance of Pressure Control Equipment would be an advantage
- Knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
- Read & interpret technical manuals & drawings
