Overall Purpose of the Job
Onshore based role within the Electrical workshop carrying out all activities relating to the maintenance, diagnoses and repair of a range of Expro Well Flow Management electrical equipment including pressurised labs, pumps, Ignition systems and other associated equipment. Undertake the preparation of equipment to comply with company/industry standards and approved codes of practices in a safe manner for use within an operational environment.
Key Activities and Accountabilities
- Undertake the preventative and predictive maintenance along with the diagnoses and repair of Well Flow Management equipment in line with work plans to the required company quality and certification standards.
- Update job packs and return to the Coordinator/Supervisor at the end of each work period
- Attend and actively participate in morning meetings to discuss safety, maintenance status/tasks, mobilisation/demobilisation updates and toolbox talks when required
- Liaise with Supervisor, team members and operations personnel as and when required to ensure all aspects of the schedule of work are discussed with the relevant parties to ensure effective communication to achieve safe completion of maintaining and the repairing of equipment for task completion
- Liaise with Third Party and internal QC Inspectors conducting electrical certification inspections prior to equipment release / load out
- Promote HSE awareness; take responsibility and be accountable for own safety and safety of others. Demonstrate the personal application of HSE procedures in daily performance and always follow the 12 Safety House Rules
- To provide out-of-hours and call-out support as required
Job Knowledge and Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds certificates in requirements BS7671 and Inspection and Testing (or equivalent national certifying body qualification)
- Extensive experience of electrical work in a commercial environment, ideally in the oil and gas industry
