Overall Purpose of the Job
As a Rewards Specialist, you\’ll be responsible for developing and implementing our compensation and benefits strategies for our ESSA Region, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with our business objectives.
Key Activities And Accountabilities
- Ensure the effective operation, administration and renewals of Region Reward programs including maintaining records of the geographical programs in the Region.
- Maximise efficiency wherever possible including conducting vendor reviews, multi country opportunities for cost and administrative efficiency.
- Maintain and procure market data information for key positions across the geographical area ensuring this is available to the HR Business Partner team regularly and as required.
- Provide the data for HR budget recommendations relating to base salary increases for input to annual business planning process in partnership with the geographical HR Partners and Region HR and wider Region Leadership team.
- Analyse compensation data to determine internal job worth and external market value.
- Conduct regular reviews, audits and market assessments of local compensation and benefits programs and processes, collaborating with the geographical HR team
- Support the Global Reward team in the roll out of any global Reward campaigns, and advise Region Leadership on the terms and requirements of these schemes.
- Apply the Global Reward strategy to the Region and initiate any Region-specific strategic initiatives where Reward is a focus i.e. Annual Review, Incentive Programs, SAYE where relevant.
- Ensure that any Reward specific information, legislation or statutory requirements are communicated with the geographical HR team to ensure Reward elements are compliant.
- Complete any locally required/statutory reporting requirements as and when required i.e. Gender Pay Gap Reporting (UK)
- Advise managers to ensure salaries and benefits are in line with competitive practice and cost containment.
- May be required to liaise with relevant industry/HR external groups as necessary.
- As a member of the HR team, conduct generalist HR duties as required including but not limited to employee relations activities, employee support, administration.
- Ad hoc activities as required.
Job Knowledge And Qualifications
- Degree or professional qualification (alternatively skills acquired through experience in progressively more senior HR roles)
- Considerable previous working experience related to Compensation & Benefits / Reward.
- Competent in Generalist HR activity to Business Partner capability within HR environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Powerpoint and Word)
- Previous experience in SAP Success Factors would be an advantage
