Overall Purpose of the Job
To effectively and efficiently control the quality of Supplier manufactured equipment/components and the associated quality records
Key Activities And Accountabilities
- Perform inspection (visual, dimensional, gauging and comparison as appropriate) on new manufactured, repaired and modified equipment and components pre, during and post qualification testing
- Raise Non-conformance Reports against non-conforming equipment / components and manufacturing, repair, modification quality records
- Work in accordance with Goods Inwards Quality Procedures
- Ensure inspection measuring equipment is kept safe, clean, fit for purpose and in current calibration
- Perform inspection surveys on returned operational equipment (Expro and Customer owned)
- Perform Quality Control checks to Operations Support processes at key stages (i.e. prior to final shipment, job card completion etc.,)
- Perform Non Destructive Testing on components for certification purposes
- Witness pressure testing of equipment for certification to ensure that the tests are conducted to the required standards
Job Knowledge And Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role
- Trained and Experienced Internal Quality Auditor would be an advantage
- Good knowledge of workshop procedures and practices
- Knowledge of Risk Assessment/Job Card/Engineering Test Procedure compliance
- Able to display quality control/certification techniques
- Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to read and intepret drawings & technical documentation
