Overall Purpose of the Job

Exproare is recruiting a Wireless Operations Engineer to join its Wireless Wells Solutions (WWS) team.

The role is based in Ringwood, Hampshire, UK, but will require international travel to field locations.

The engineer will assist with the preparation, installation, and commissioning of all WWS products and services globally, ensuring full compliance with Expro standards and client or industry requirements.

  • Key Activities And Accountabilities
  • Assist with equipment deployment, supporting safe installation and commissioning of WWS tools worldwide and ensuring accurate data delivery.
  • Execute operational tasks under supervision, including equipment preparation, testing, packing, inventory management, load‑out, and back‑load.
  • Support documentation and planning, completing required records and helping with risk assessments, FATs, and SITs.
  • Ensure compliance with Expro, client, and country‑specific operational and safety protocols, including Management of Change (MOC).
  • Troubleshoot and report issues, assisting with fault finding and reporting equipment or procedural problems to supervisors through Expro’s reporting systems.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by monitoring and reporting equipment usage, damage, or loss to the field supervisor.
  • Communicate effectively, providing clear handovers and updates to supervisors and maintaining professional conduct with clients.
  • Participate in training, engaging with the WWS Learning and Development Competency System and staying informed on technical updates.
  • Champion safety, promoting a strong safety culture and participating in safety observation and intervention programmes.
  • Support engineering trials, assisting with field deployment and contributing operational feedback when requested.
