Overall Purpose of the Job

Expro is seeking a highly experienced Logistics & Compliance Manager, based in Aberdeen and reporting to the Global Logistics & Compliance Manager, to lead and enhance our global logistics operations. This pivotal role ensures that all logistics activities across the organisation are efficient, compliant, cost‑effective, and aligned with our global standards. As the Group Logistics & Compliance Manager, you will drive the implementation of standardised logistics procedures, strengthen supplier performance, and safeguard compliance across all operational regions. You will work closely with regional logistics teams and Compliance Due Diligence functions to uphold Expro’s high standards in quality, ethics, and operational excellence.

Key Activities And Accountabilities

  • Global Logistics Leadership
    • Develop, implement and manage global logistics strategies and policies across Expro
    • Standardise logistics procedures to improve performance, quality and cost management
    • Oversee Global Service Provider (GSP) selection, due diligence, approval and performance management across key shipping lanes
  • Compliance & Governance
    • Promote and enforce adherence to Expro’s Compliance policies, international regulations, and contractual obligations
    • Support operational countries in mitigating logistics‑related compliance risks
    • Partner closely with Compliance & Due Diligence teams to ensure GDP’s consistently meet compliance standards
  • Audit & Performance Management
    • Conduct internal audits in high‑risk countries and other identified locations to validate compliance with group standards
    • Ensure regional teams complete GSP audits, country visits, and reporting within set timelines
    • Produce detailed audit reports with actionable recommendations and ensure follow‑up visits where required
  • Operational Excellence & Supplier Management
    • Optimise freight supplier performance to reduce costs and enhance service levels
    • Implement compliant SOPs across the entire logistics supply chain
    • Support regional operational logistics matters and ensure accurate, high‑quality reporting
    • Direct involvement in any major deliverable/charter to ensure cost, delivery, and risk are fully managed
  • Leadership & Development
    • Train, mentor and support regional logistics staff to strengthen internal capabilities
    • Promote Expro’s Business Principles, Code of Business Conduct, and ethical standards across all logistics processes

Job Knowledge And Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in global logistics management within the oilfield services sector
  • Strong background in logistics compliance, supplier performance, and operational governance
  • Business degree or equivalent; Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
  • Extensive working experience within the Freight Forwarding industry
  • In‑depth understanding of global customs requirements
  • Practical experience with FCPA/UK Bribery Act compliance
