Overall Purpose of the Job
Working a 3/3 rotation (with the possibility of further ad hoc work) in the North Sea, the Field Service Supervisor will perform and oversee operations involving various types/sizes of tubulars and utilizing varying sizes/types of equipment.
Key Activities And Accountabilities
- Responsible for own health & safety and for anyone else who could be affected by their work
- Responsible for stopping work where your or other people’s safety is at risk
- Prompt reporting of any unsafe/unsatisfactory plant and/or systems of work, or those not being operated to Expro standards or QHSE procedures
- Actively seek ways to eliminate unsafe practices, conditions & damage to people, processes, equipment, property & the environment
- Ensure works area(s) are kept clean & free from obstructions
- Actively participate in worksite safety programs
- Complete and forward relevant paper or electronic reports e.g., STAR Cards, incident reports, Equipment Fault Reports, etc., to the appropriate department
- Keep up‑to‑date with new developments in Expro equipment & operational requirements as instructed
- Ensure all required operational documentation is completed in an accurate & timely manner & forwarded to Operations Office for processing
- Professionally represent Expro at client meetings when required
- Assist onshore/workshop operations when required
- Inspire, support & reassure all other team members in carrying out their delegated duties
Job Knowledge And Qualifications
- Previous Oil & Gas Pipe Deck & Drillfloor supervisory experience
- The ability, drive, aptitude & adaptability to meet Expro operational requirements
- Supervisory skills (value/results driven, effective communicator, technically adept, efficient organiser)
- Proven ability to manage a team as part of an international workforce whilst meeting client needs & expectations
- Demonstrable experience in the operation of complex hydraulic & pneumatic casing & tubing handling equipment
