Overall Purpose of the Job
We are seeking an experienced Senior Workshop / Maintenance Supervisor to lead and coordinate operations within our Coretrax and Cementing workshop facilities. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant execution of all workshop activities, including equipment maintenance, tool preparation, and operational readiness. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving operational performance, maintaining high safety standards, and developing a skilled and competent workforce.
Key Activities & Accountabilities
- Lead and coordinate all workshop activities to ensure operational schedules and client deadlines are met
- Supervise and support workshop personnel, maintaining a strong visible presence on the shop floor
- Develop and communicate daily and weekly resource and personnel plans
- Promote and maintain a strong Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) culture, encouraging accountability and Stop Work Authority
- Ensure all equipment, including pressure testing systems, is maintained, certified, and compliant with company and regulatory standards
- Drive consistent and effective use of systems including TRACS, SAP, ETM, Digital Servicing, Sharepoint, ETRAK and Microsoft Planner
- Manage incident reporting, investigation, and corrective actions in line with company procedures
- Develop and implement programs to enhance equipment reliability and service quality
- Mentor, coach, and assess team members in line with competency and training programmes
- Collaborate with operations and support teams to align workshop activities with business priorities
- Ensure all documentation and certification packs are completed accurately and on time
- Manage third-party equipment tracking and returns where required
Job Knowledge & Qualifications
- Technical qualification in a relevant discipline
- Extensive experience in a workshop or maintenance environment (preferably within oil & gas or similar industry)
- Proven supervisory or team leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of maintenance processes, equipment servicing, and operational planning
- Demonstrated commitment to safety leadership and compliance
- Experience using maintenance and planning systems (e.g. SAP or equivalent)
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
