Overall Purpose of the Job
We are seeking an experienced Offshore Operator to strengthen our Well Test team based in Aberdeen. The successful candidates will be responsible for the safe and efficient execution of well test operations. Working closely with colleagues and stakeholders, they will ensure all operational activities are delivered to the highest technical, safety, and quality standard.
Key Activities and Accountabilities
- Safely execute well test operations, ensuring technical integrity and minimising operational risk.
- Conduct detailed equipment checks to confirm compliance and technical suitability for each operation.
- Lead or actively participate in toolbox talks, pre-job planning sessions, and operational briefings.
- Ensure wellsite support requirements are effectively planned and executed to enable continuous operations.
- Liaise with client representatives and participate in operational and planning meetings as required.
- Complete all operational, safety, and quality documentation in accordance with company procedures and client requirements.
- Provide support at onshore bases when required, including equipment preparation, returns, and report compilation.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and Supervisors to complete required competencies for current and future roles.
- Actively mentor and support junior team members, sharing technical knowledge to assist with competency development and progression.
- May be required to work at onshore bases in the preparation, return of equipment and report preparation.
- Be available for ad-hoc work both onshore and offshore.
- Work in a multi-skilled team to deliver a flawless service.
Job Knowledge and Qualifications
- Demonstrated technical knowledge gained through successful completion of relevant role competencies.
- Formal technical qualification (preferred).
- Previous experience within well test operations (preferred).
