Overall Purpose of the Job
Expro is seeking an enthusiastic, safety-conscious individual to join our team as an Offshore Operator, supporting subsea operations predominantly across the North Sea and providing support in international locations. Working as part of an experienced offshore team on an ad-hoc basis, you will assist with the preparation, deployment, and operation of specialist subsea equipment, helping to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality services to our clients.
Key Activities and Accountabilities
- Supporting offshore operations in accordance with company procedures and operating manuals
- Conducting equipment inspections and checks to ensure compliance with Expro standards and operational requirements
- Participating in toolbox talks, safety briefings, and operational planning meetings
- Assisting with the preparation, mobilisation, demobilisation, and maintenance of equipment both offshore and at onshore bases
- Working closely with Offshore Supervisors, Operations personnel, and fellow team members to ensure safe and successful operations
- Building positive working relationships with client representatives and maintaining a professional approach at all times
- Completing operational and client documentation accurately and in a timely manner
Job Knowledge and Qualifications
- A technical qualification or relevant engineering background
- Strong safety awareness and a proactive approach to teamwork
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a challenging offshore environment
- Previous offshore experience is advantageous but not essential, as training and development opportunities will be provided
- Knowledge of hydraulics, HPUs, IWOCs, and ball gate valve assembly and operation would be beneficial
