The Role:
We are looking for a solicitor at NQ – 5 years PQE level to join our expanding Group Litigation Team.
The role will involve running your own mixed caseload of Group Litigation matters predominantly issued in the Media and Communications List of the High Court, from inception to conclusion and assisting a Partner on other ongoing group litigation cases. There will also be a requirement to manage a small number of fast-track data breach files as part of an ongoing work stream.
The role will require a strong litigation background, as files will be heavily weighted towards litigation.
Responsibilities:
- Managing a mixed caseload of Group Actions and Data breach files from cradle to grave
- Conducting thorough legal research and providing sound legal advice to clients
- Preparing and drafting legal documents, including pleadings and witness statements
- Instructing and working with King\’s Counsel on High Court matters
- Negotiating settlements and representing clients in court when necessary
- Working in a target driven, fast paced environment
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure the successful outcome of cases.
- Keeping up to date with changes in relevant laws and regulations

- Demonstrable expertise in group litigation
- Qualified Lawyer with a focus on group litigation

Salary & Hours:
A basic salary of up to £45,000 with attractive monthly billing-based bonus
Our standard working hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday-Thursday and 8:30am to 5pm Friday.
