Then our Costs Litigation Assistant role is the new role for Business graduates. Don’t worry you don’t need to have experience in law! We believe that your Business Management experience will give you a great foundation to build on. Your work will directly contribute to helping injured people receive justice and support during challenging times.
We provide full training on all aspects of the role. You will learn how to use our cost drafting software: Cost Master, and our case management system: Proclaim. You will learn how to review a client file of papers accurately in order to bill all the client’s legal work and disbursements. Training will be given in new starter groups and one to one at your desk (both in person and over MS Teams). You’ll have access to structured training from your Line Manager, mentorship from experienced colleagues, and ongoing support from your work Buddy.
Our Cost Litigation Assistants draft bills and cost statements for our clients. This is technical work and being able to absorb information and then clearly and concisely distil information will be a major part of the role. This role also offers the chance to develop specialist skills in cost drafting and cost case management.
We have a cohort of Costs Litigation Assistants starting on 19th January 2026. If you are available to start full time from then, we would love to hear from you! The deadline for applications is 9th January 2026.

Salary – £27,000 + £200 monthly commission
Working Hours - 8:30am-5:30pm Monday-Thursday and 8:30am to 5pm Friday
Office based - We value flexibility—after probation, you can work from home one day per week
Holidays - 23 days holiday a year, rising to 26 days PLUS a day off for your birthday after 2 years’ service
