We are delighted to be working with a well-established and growing engineering services provider who are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their team based in Wakefield. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager who enjoys leading electrical maintenance, remedial and capital projects from inception through to completion. The role will involve managing multiple projects across Yorkshire, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time and within budget, whilst maintaining excellent client relationships.

Benefits include a competitive salary of up to c£60,000, company car or £4,125 car allowance, pension, ongoing training and development, and the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of operational and capital projects. This is an office-based role during probation, with flexibility thereafter.

Skills & Experience

  • Recognised electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship, HNC/HND or Degree) with previous experience delivering electrical projects
  • Strong understanding of electrical installations, project delivery, health & safety and safe systems of work
  • Experience managing project budgets, programmes, subcontractors and client relationships within a commercial environment
  • Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills with good Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Full UK driving licence with flexibility to travel across the Midlands and South-East and attend the Nottingham office several days per week

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Managing the full lifecycle of electrical projects, from initial handover through to completion and client handover
  • Planning and coordinating labour, subcontractors, suppliers and materials to ensure projects are delivered safely on time and within budget
  • Monitoring project costs, programmes, quality, commercial performance and identifying variations where appropriate
  • Leading client meetings, project reporting and ensuring compliance with contractual, technical and health & safety requirements
  • Supporting continuous improvement, technical problem solving and collaboration across engineering and operational teams
