Express Recruitment are currently supporting a large local organisation, with a busy recruitment period. Our client is looking to recruit a Temporary Procurement Officer to join their team.
The role will involve managing the end-to-end procurement process, including the procurement of goods, works and services. The successful candidate will hold experience in in a similar procurement role and will likely be a CIPS member.
- Assist and lead on the procurement and tender process of goods and services
- Ensure the full procurement process is managed and delivered
- Produce contract recommendation reports for awarding contracts
- Deliver expert advice to colleagues in all aspects of contract management
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
Skills & Experience
- Procurement experience is essential
- Relevant CIPS member or willingness to become a member
- Experience of supporting supplier performance reviews
- Proficient In all Microsoft office packages
- Confident managing ad prioritising a heavy workload
