Express Recruitment are delighted to be working alongside a small, independent Nottingham-based business in their recruitment for a Temp to Perm Store Manager to assist with the daily running of the business. The role will involve the operational management of the showroom, to include welcoming customers into their desired areas, guiding around and promoting selected products.

As the business operates 7 days per week, two shift patterns are available: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm, or Saturdays and Sundays, 10:00am-4:00pm. In addition to this, our client also offers free on-site parking alongside the opportunity to earn discounts on products, and additional Β£30 for each converted customer sale.

  • Meeting and greeting customers, directing them to the correct area dependent on their requirement
  • Reviewing interior design specifications, providing advice and guidance to customers on products
  • Guiding customers around the premises and promoting the products
  • Opening and closing the showroom
  • Assisting in the general front of house such as making beverages and managing reception

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience of running a small retail business
  • A friendly and welcoming professional manner
  • Previous experience working in a front of house role advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills with people from all backgrounds
  • Ability to work proficiently alone
