Overview
Express Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a leading construction services provider who are urgently seeking to appoint 3 Lead Hands to join their busy operational team, working on a range of sites across the UK. Due to the growth within the business, immediate starts are available for the right candidates!
If you have experience in steel erection, working at height particularly within construction or similar industries, we need you! If you are looking for a role that offers stability, career progression and the chance to work on major projects, APPLY NOW!
Please note that an in-date CSCS Card & IPAF is essential for this role (Categories 3A & 3B).
Responsibilities
- Support Site Managers and Supervisors with co-ordination of construction projects
- Work at height from scaffolding, ladders, and MEWPs (scissor lifts/cherry pickers)
- Lift, guide, align, and secure structural components using bolts or rivets
- Ensure all company tools and equipment are maintained and used safely
- Maintain awareness of health and safety practices at all times
- Carry out additional duties as directed by the Operations Director and Delivery Manager
Skills & Experience
- Valid CSCS card and IPAF (Categories 3A & 3B) essential
- Previous background in steel erection, construction, or related sectors desirable
- Confident, professional, and flexible approach with strong attention to detail
- Physically fit and able to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and practical working skills
- Valid UK Driving Licence
