Overview
Express Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a well-established engineering and manufacturing business with their search for a motivated Stores Operative / Administrator. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with warehouse and stock control experience who is looking to join a supportive team and take on a varied role combining both hands-on and administrative responsibilities.

Responsibilities
- Receive and record goods-in and goods-out
- Pick and prepare kits/orders following picklists and job requirements
- Liaise with other departments when materials and parts arrive
- Complete weekly and monthly stocktakes and maintain accurate inventory records
- Prepare and print despatch paperwork, invoices, and reports
- Using a forklift to load and unload goods
Skills & Experience
- Experience in a similar position, in a warehouse and/or administrative role
- Valid forklift licence
- Good IT ability with a willingness to learn new systems
- Excellent communication skills and team-working ability
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise workload, and work independently when needed
