Do you have at least 1 years’ experience within a sales role and looking to take the next step in your career? Our client are leaders in their industry with the software sector, and work with globally renowned businesses including KPMG, Vodafone and Capital One.

Due to business growth plans and internal promotion, they are looking to expand their Nottingham-based sales team through recruiting a Business Development Executive.

The successful candidate will have experience in a sales-based position, with the ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders at C-Suite and Head-of level, and hold long term career aims. There is an excellent remuneration package on offer including a basic salary of cÂŁ30k with a ÂŁ45k OTE, alongside some excellent benefits such as free gym membership, Christmas office closure and a relaxed office environment with a PlayStation 5!

This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starting and enthusiastic candidate with long term career aims to develop their skillset within the technology/software sector.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Engage with incoming leads to identify and secure promising sales opportunities
  • Build and maintain a list of potential customers to identify and qualify leads effectively
  • Use a mix of outbound strategies, including calls, emails and social platforms, to set up sales discussions
  • Maintain and develop a pipeline of interested prospects to generate qualified sales opportunities
  • Continuously update CRM systems with accurate and relevant data to support future marketing campaigns and enhance prospect insights
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of the technology and its benefits for clients

  • Previous sales experience essential
  • Ability to assess and understand customer needs to fulfil their requirements
