Express Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with an industry leading Financial Software Company who are recruiting a Business Development Manager to join their expanding team, covering London and the South of England. The successful candidate will possess experience in a similar customer-facing role, selling mid-market cloud-based finance systems in a consultative manner, with the ability to build and nurture relationships with senior stakeholders across a range of industry verticals.
There is an excellent remuneration package on offer including a basic salary of up to £60k DOE, with an uncapped commission structure offering an OTE of £100k-£120k, alongside a competitive holiday allowance and other benefits.
Roles & Responsibilities- Deliver a multi-channel approach to generate new business with both new and existing clients
- Arrange and attend customer meetings around the South of England
- Collaborate with Presales and Marketing teams to create compelling presentations and demonstrations that capture client interest
- Researching potential clients generating leads with autonomy
- Contributing in strategy meetings, having an input in how to contact new clients
- Qualifying and understanding all opportunities effectively
- Ensure the database is kept updated
- Experience selling cloud-based financial accounting systems (Sage X3, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) is essential
- Experience with Sage packages advantageous
- Experience of KPIs and motivated by targets to achieve commission
- Excellent communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
