Express Recruitment are delighted to be working alongside an Electrical Contract Specialist based just outside of Derby who are looking to hire a Project Manager on a full time, permanent basis.

The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of projects, review the company’s ability to complete work to client specifications, and liaise with member of the team, management, clients, and sub-contractors daily.
Their ideal candidate will have a background in Project Management with an electrical bias, ideally within the rail industry, will be comfortable getting hands-on with work, and will be confident liaising with clients and sub-contractors daily.
They are offering a competitive salary of up to c£80,000 per annum D.O.E alongside a generous benefits package that includes Private Healthcare and Pension schemes.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of projects from awarding of contract to final hand back to client
- Review the ability for the company to meet the specified requirements of clients
- Liaise with sub-contractors and control the work they complete for the company
- Ensure company processes and Health and Safety on site are met
- Attend internal monthly project meets and weekly resource meets with senior members of the team
Skills and Experience
- Project Management background with an Electrical bias is essential
- Rail and/or Power Distribution experience is highly desirable
- Comfortable getting hands-on with work as and when required
- Personal track safety (PTS) certification is highly desirable
- Confident liaising with clients and sub-contractors daily
