Press Brake Setter Operator

Express Recruitment are working alongside one of Nottingham’s leading industrial fabricators who are on the lookout for an experienced Press Brake Setter Operator to join their workshop team during a sustained period of growth.\\n\\nThe successful candidate will be contracted to either permanent afternoon (2pm-10pm) or double day shifts, consisting of one week working 6am-2pm and the following week working 2pm-10pm. Shifts rota will reset on a fortnightly basis.\\n\\nThe successful candidate will receive up to £16 per hour plus a weekly shift allowance. In addition, overtime is available at enhanced rates (time and a half for hours exceeding 40 hours per week).\\n\\nRoles & Responsibilities\\n\\n * Prepare, set up and adjust Bystronic press brakes in line with production plans and schedules\\n\\n * Measure and align all material batches\\n\\n * Inspect finished products ensuring they are compliant with quality standards and specifications\\n\\n * Perform routine maintenance on press brakes\\n\\n * Operate laser cutting machines and adjust tooling\\n\\n * Maintain high health and safety standards around the workshop\\n\\nSkills & Qualifications\\n\\n * Previous experience setting and operating Bystronic press brake machines\\n\\n * Understanding of the difference between types of tooling\\n\\n * Ability to read and interpret engineering schematics\\n\\n * Previous experience working from both online/offline programs\\n\\n * NVQ or equivalent in a Manufacturing Engineering discipline\\n\\nAbout Express Recruitment\\n\\nExpress Recruitment has been offering exceptional recruitment solutions across the East Midlands since 1987, “exceeding expectations every time” of over 267,000 candidates.\\n\\nWe supply a diverse range of sectors including Engineering, Technology, Professional Services, Languages, Sales & Marketing, Call Centres, Commercial, Manufacturing, Local Authority, NHS, Education and Voluntary organisations.
