Express Recruitment are proud to be supporting a leading not-for-profit healthcare provider who, due to an ambitious programme of continuous improvement, are seeking to appoint a CQC Lead on a part time basis.
The successful candidate will ensure will strengthen the existing quality governance team and ensure the organisation remain inspection-ready at all times.
In return, you can expect a competitive starting salary of up to £45,000 (pro rata for part-time hours), enrolment into the NHS Pension Scheme, generous annual leave entitlement, flexible hybrid working options, and genuine opportunities for ongoing professional development and career progression.
Please note, this role is a part-time position working 3 days per week, working office hours with a hybrid pattern split between home working, the organisation’s Nottingham head office, and occasional site visits to local hospitals.
- Lead on regulatory compliance, ensuring the organisation is always inspection-ready
- Monitor and oversee actions from CQC inspections and external audits
- Produce clear action plans and progress reports for the Executive Team and Board
- Maintain accurate records including risk logs, quality improvement plans, and registration details
- Coordinate responses to CQC enquiries and manage communication across services
- Deliver training sessions to improve staff awareness of CQC requirements
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of quality governance and regulatory requirements
- Proven experience managing projects and producing detailed reports
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work under pressure with strong organisational skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office and relevant IT systems
- Flexible and proactive, with a genuine interest in improving patient care
