Express Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with an industry leading Software Company who are recruiting a Business Development Manager to join their expanding team, based in the outskirts of Oxford. The successful candidate will possess experience selling technology-based products and services in a consultative manner, with the ability to sell both over the telephone and face to face.
There is an excellent remuneration package on offer including a basic salary of up to £55k DOE, with an uncapped commission structure realistically doubling the basic salary, alongside 30 days holidays, 23 personal development days a year, £700 a year to spend on anything which aids your work-life balance, a fully paid month-long sabbatical after 5 years’ service and flexible working options.
Responsibilities- Deliver a multi-channel approach to generate new business with both new and existing clients
- Research potential clients generating leads with autonomy
- Contribute in strategy meetings, having an input in how to contact new clients
- Meet and exceed monthly sales key performance indicators such as number of new customer contacts, number of lead conversions and number of closed sales
- Qualify and understand all opportunities effectively
- Ensure the database is kept updated
- Experience within a similar B2B sales role
- A background in technology, software, digital marketing or similar
- Experience of KPIs and motivated by targets to achieve commission
- Full UK driving licence
