We’re after someone with strong industry knowledge, excellent organisational skills and the confidence to lead and inspire a busy team. In this role, you’ll oversee the running of the office, help colleagues deliver an exceptional service and foster a positive, supportive working environment.
Experience in the pensions or financial services sector would be a real plus, making this a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to expand their expertise and take the next step in their career.
- Lead and manage two administration teams and two analysts responsible for executing customer and financial adviser (IFA) instructions related to pensions and investments
- Oversee operational reporting to regulatory bodies such as The Pensions Regulator and HMRC, as well as to clients and IFAs
- Ensure all team workloads are completed accurately, within established deadlines, and in alignment with service level agreements
- Leverage data to generate insightful management information (MI) and performance statistics for senior leadership, while continuously seeking opportunities for improvement.
- Foster talent development through coaching, clear objective setting and performance evaluations, while promoting ongoing learning and professional growth
- Champion a high performance culture focused on achieving optimal outcomes
- Conduct regular process reviews to identify efficiency gains and enhance resource utilisation
- Ensure implementation of new policies and updates to existing procedures, maintaining compliance with industry regulations
- Serve as a key escalation point for internal and external stakeholders, providing resolution and support as needed.
Skills & Experience
- A background in pension administration management is essential for this role coupled with experience of dealing with external clients and working to SLAs
- Strong people management experience is essential and exposure to managing multiple teams/business areas is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentational) across all business levels and with external client
- Agile & dynamic with a positive attitude that filters down into the teams
