Express Recruitment are delighted to be working alongside a well-established Public Services organisation who are seeking a professional Receptionist to join their team, initially on a 3-month contract with possibility of an extension. The hours are part-time, working Tuesdays-Thursdays, giving the successful candidate a lovely long weekend!
The successful candidate will have previous experience within a sensitive administrative environment and will be passionate about providing advice and support to individuals from all backgrounds.
- Act as the first point of contact for visitors coming into the building
- Provide polite and professional services to people at all times
- Signpost members of the public around the building
- Handle incoming mail and distribute this accordingly
- Receive and screen enquiries via telephone and action emails
- Undertake general administrative duties such as filing and photocopying
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience within a similar environment beneficial
- Communication skills at all levels
- Polite and professional telephone manner
- Well presented with a professional manner
- Knowledge of IT systems, to include MS Office
