We’re on the search for a high performing and ambitious Sales and Business Development professional to join a market leader with an expanding presence in Nottingham. An excellent position has become available for a candidate who has cut their teeth in sales and is looking for the next step. You will join the team as a Business Development Associate, working with current clients, old contacts and new prospects to increase spend across the UK.
To be successful in this role, you will be a proven high achiever in a sales role who is well versed in exceeding targets on a regular basis. Due to the technical nature of our client’s service, plenty of training will be on offer as well as sponsored qualifications to get the successful candidate up to speed. This position should be viewed as “just the start” in an organisation who have quadrupled in size over the past 3 years.
The basic salary for the role is £30,000 with an uncapped OTE expected at c£12.5k per year. There is progression available to a Business Development Manager role within a year.
Roles & Responsibilities- Utilise existing accounts and business relationships to increase revenue streams
- Generate new business through contacting prospective clients
- Attend regular client meetings to build on relationships
- Keep up to date with industry information to provide insight to clients
- Due to the technical nature of the role, a Bachelors degree is essential (Business, Finance or Accounting preferred)
- Previous experience in a B2B Business Development role essential
- Proven track record of hitting sales targets
- Able to deliver a highly consultative sales approach
- Willingness to take professional qualifications to improve industry knowledge
