Express Recruitment are delighted to be representing a Control Systems Solutions Provider that drive innovation and diversity whilst being pioneers of control system and environment solutions. Due to year-on-year financial growth and a recent acquisition resulting in considerable stakeholder investment, our client is actively seeking Project Control System Engineers to join their talented and growing team.
Their ideal candidate will have considerable experience in the full project lifecycle of control systems, including design, programming, installation, commissioning and aftercare phases. Furthermore, candidates with demonstrable expertise in Siemens and Schneider PLC programming will be most desirable. Due to providing on-site testing and commissioning for clients, the role will require a full, clean UK Driving Licence.
In return, they are offering up to c£65,000 per annum D.O.E. along with a very generous benefits package including flexible working hours, generous holiday package, profit share bonus, paid birthday off, an employee wellbeing program, and more!
Roles and Responsibilities:- Design and implement control systems for a wide range of customers
- Develop, integrate and implement SCADA systems
- Code Schneider, Siemens S7 PLC code from scratch using TIA Portal
- Prepare technical documents ready for clients and Engineers
- Travel on-site to commission, configure and test control systems when required
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, engineering best practices, and industry regulations
- Liaise with clients, team members, and management at multiple levels
- Mentor and train Junior Project Engineers
- Provide end user training to a range of customers
- Proven technical knowledge in the field of control systems, instrumentation, and automated systems
- Demonstrable Engineering experience including instilling best practices and following industry regulations
- Strong proficiency in programming PLCs from scratch (ideally Siemens S7 and Schneider)
- Considerable experience working with control systems in critical industrial environments
- Confident reading and interpreting technical CAD drawings, including schematics and control panel layout diagrams
- Strong communication abilities, both written and verbally, including being able to communicate with clients, team members, and management at all levels
- Full, clean UK Driving Licence
