Express Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with an industry leading manufacturer who are recruiting a Key Sales Account Manager to join their team based near Nottingham on an initial 12 month maternity cover contract. The successful candidate will ideally possess experience within the FMCG sector, ideally within beauty, fashion or related, with a proactive nature and the ability to build strong relationships with key partner brands to create new business opportunities alongside proactively winning new customers. There is an excellent remuneration package on offer including a basic salary of up to £50k DOE, hybrid and flexible working options alongside an array of further benefits.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for key customer accounts, fostering strong strategic relationships and ensuring business alignment.
- Develop and execute account plans to achieve growth targets including identifying upselling, cross-selling and new business opportunities.
- Lead pricing discussions, manage sales budgets and regularly review account performance and profitability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams such as sales, marketing, R&D, procurement and production.
- Own the end to end business development process from evaluating customer briefs to leading tender submissions.
- Proactively promote company capabilities through presentations, site visits and trade events.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in a similar role within FMCG.
- Experience within the beauty, fashion or food sector advantageous.
- Ability to build relationships and negotiate contracts.
- Proactive mindset with a desire to win new business.
- Excellent communication skills.
