Express Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with a reputable educational institution to recruit an experienced Director of Learning – English on a permanent basis, starting in September, working in a Secondary School based in Tonbridge, Kent. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Director of Education to genuinely make a difference. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership experience and will play a vital part to enhance the school's English Division, driving standards, supporting staff development, and ensuring excellent outcomes for students.

Skills & Experience

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Proven UK experience teaching English
  • Previous leadership experience, such as Director of Learning or Lead Practitioner roles
  • Strong knowledge of the English curriculum
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to inspire and lead a team effectively
