An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IFA Administrator to join a well-established and growing Independent Financial Planning practice with an excellent reputation for delivering tailored financial advice and exceptional client service. This is far more than a traditional administration position, offering the chance to become an integral part of a close-knit team whilst gaining invaluable exposure across all aspects of wealth management.

This role is ideally suited to someone with previous Financial Services administration experience who is looking to take the next step in their career. Working closely with experienced Financial Advisers and Paraplanners, you'll play a key role in supporting the client journey whilst developing your own technical knowledge across pensions, investments and protection. The business is passionate about investing in its people and offers a genuine, structured career pathway into Paraplanning and, ultimately, Financial Advice, making this an excellent long-term opportunity for someone ambitious and eager to progress.

In return, the successful candidate will receive a salary of c£25,000 - £30,000 per annum, company pension scheme, fully funded professional qualifications including support towards the Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, one-to-one mentoring from experienced Advisers and Paraplanners, ongoing professional development, and genuine long-term career progression within a successful and expanding Wealth Management business as quickly as you’re able to take it on.

Skills & Experience
  • Previous administration experience within an IFA, Wealth Management, or Financial Planning environment
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience using CRM systems such as Intelligent Office, Xplan, or Salesforce
  • Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or working towards) would be advantageous, although support will be provided for the right candidate
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to Financial Advisers, ensuring an efficient client journey from enquiry through to completion
  • Prepare client documentation, process new business applications, and maintain accurate client records in line with FCA requirements
  • Liaise with providers, clients, and third parties to obtain information and progress applications efficiently
  • Support client reviews by preparing documentation, valuations, and suitability paperwork
  • Maintain accurate CRM records whilst ensuring all compliance documentation is completed to a high standard
