We are delighted to be supporting a leading global property and construction consultancy. Our client is currently seeking to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support their team in their new Nottingham offices. The role is offered on a temp to perm basis and offers stability to a successful applicant as well as the opportunity to work on a high-profile project.

  • Manage cost planning, forecasting and monitoring to keep budgets on track and identify risks early.
  • Administer and advise on contracts, including valuations, payments and variations.
  • Review, benchmark and validate estimates to ensure accuracy and value for money.
  • Work closely with clients, project teams and supply chains to support collaboration and innovation.
  • Provide clear, well-structured reports and commercial recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Support risk identification and mitigation to safeguard financial outcomes.

Skills & Experience

  • HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Construction Law or a related subject.
  • Professional membership (RICS, CIOB, CICES, CIPS or similar) is desirable.
  • Experience in quantity surveying or commercial management within the UK is essential.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build lasting client and colleague relationships.

Vacancy Summary

  • Hours: Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm
  • Salary: c£22.00 per hour D.O.E + Holiday Pay
  • Location: Nottingham City Centre, Nottinghamshire
  • Job Type: Temp to Perm subject to 12 consecutive weeks in employment.
