Base pay range

Express Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with an industry leading manufacturer who are recruiting a Key Account Manager to join their expanding team, based near Nottingham.

The successful candidate will possess experience within the FMCG sector, ideally within beauty, fashion or related, with a proactive nature and the ability to build strong relationships with key partner brands to create new business opportunities.

There is an excellent remuneration package on offer including a basic salary of up to £54k DOE, 10% bonus, hybrid/flexible working options alongside an array of further benefits.

  • Serve as the primary contact for key customer accounts, fostering strong strategic relationships and ensuring business alignment
  • Develop and execute account plans to achieve growth targets, including identifying upselling, cross-selling, and new business opportunities
  • Lead pricing discussions, manage sales budgets, and regularly review account performance and profitability
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., sales, marketing, R&D, procurement, and production) to deliver successful project outcomes
  • Own the end-to-end business development process—from evaluating customer briefs to leading tender submissions and post-response follow-up
  • Proactively promote company capabilities through presentations, site visits, and trade events, while driving customer-centric culture across internal teams

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in a similar role within FMCG
  • Experience within the beauty, fashion or food sector advantageous
  • Ability to build relationships and negotiate contracts
  • Proactive mindset with a desire to win new business

Vacancy Summary

Salary: Up to c£54,000 per annum DOE + bonus
