Express Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a people-focused, fast-growing business in their search for a Group HR Manager, supporting with HR, recruitment and culture. Based from the North Nottinghamshire office, the role supports three businesses in the group. This role will suit an experienced and hands-on HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the business, supporting both employees and leadership with a proactive, detail-oriented, and people-first approach. The working hours are offered either full time, Monday to Friday, or part time, across 4 full days or 5 shorter days. There is a competitive salary of up to £45,000 alongside an excellent benefits package including an EV car scheme, enhanced annual leave, company socials, and strong career progression opportunities. Occasional travel will be required.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day people operations, ensuring smooth and efficient business functioning
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless employee experience
- Develop and maintain performance management frameworks, including probation reviews and ongoing feedback cycles
- Manage all HR administration, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records via HR systems
- Lead on benefits and people analytics including annual pay reviews
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in a similar HR management role
- Good understanding of HR administration, payroll, and employee lifecycle management
- Sound knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
- Holder of, or studying towards CIPD Level 5 or 7
- Full UK driving licence
