Express Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with a well-established and growing fire and security solutions provider, who, due to continued expansion, are seeking an Electrical Fire Systems Service Engineer to join their field-based team in the South West.
Our client has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire safety, suppression, and security solutions across a nationwide customer base. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer to join a forward-thinking organisation that places strong emphasis on safety, technical excellence, and customer service.
The role will be field based, covering the South-West region and surrounding areas, offering a competitive salary up to £37k plus an earning potential up to c£55k alongside a comprehensive benefits package including a company van, fuel card, uniform, ongoing training, increasing annual leave with service and career development opportunities.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in a similar role in an engineering role within electrical fire safety
- Knowledge of safe working practices and relevant industry procedures
- Ability to fault find, diagnose and problem solve
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Good organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
- Carry out scheduled planned preventative maintenance, servicing and inspections of fire and security systems
- Undertake electrical repairs, fault finding, testing and installation works as required
- Ensure all systems and equipment are maintained and operated in accordance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures
- Complete accurate and detailed service reports, inspection records and maintenance documentation
- Identify system faults and defects, providing clear recommendations and ensuring remedial works are reported and followed up promptly
