Electronic LabView Test Development Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop closed-loop test systems using LabView within their existing hardware frameworks
• Design and build bespoke HIL systems, including electronic circuits, PCB layouts and material fabrications
• Create automated test frameworks to improve efficiency and reliability in testing
• Maintain internal HIL systems, troubleshooting integration issues between hardware and software components
• Working with wider Test team to perform debugging and validation of systems and rapid prototypes
• Providing coaching and mentoring of Junior Test Engineers and Electronic Engineers
• Provide regular test updates to customers to outline technical diagnosis of system related issues and work with wider personnel to help find effective and efficient solutions

Skills & Experience

• Degree, HND or Apprenticeship in Electronic Engineering or similar field
• Demonstrable experience and understanding of automotive systems and communication protocols
• Proven experience working with wiring diagrams, BOMs and simulation design diagrams
• Experience in maintaining and developing hardware and software systems
• Proven experience in LabView development essential (Certified LabView Developer qualification a big bonus)
• In depth knowledge of test life cycle and protocols
