The predicted salary is between 52500 - 57500 € per year.

Due to continued investment in their R&D department, they are looking for a Control Systems Engineer with proven Rockwell/Allen Bradley PLC programming experience to join their team at their office located just on the outskirts of Derby.

The successful candidate will be heavily involved in all aspects of controls engineering, including programming, design, implementation and maintenance of PLCs and HMIs.

In return, they are offering a competitive salary of up to c£55,000 per annum D.E alongside a generous benefits package including:

You will be contracted to 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Furthermore, you will benefit from flexible start/finish times, with an early 1pm finish most Fridays (work 9:30am-3:30pm every 1 in 3 Fridays as per rota).

Requirements:

  • HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering, Automation & Controls or similar field
  • Proven experience in control system design, development and programming of Rockwell (Allen Bradley) PLCs
  • Experienced in programming and maintaining legacy Mitsubishi PLCs highly desirable
  • Experience in HMI control system design and implementation
  • Previous experience working with special purpose machinery and bespoke packaging machines highly desirable
  • Ability to read, interpret and update technical diagrams, user manuals and schematics
  • Design, develop and program Rockwell and Mitsubishi PLCs, as well as design and implement HMI’s
  • Provide technical support on legacy control systems and automation machinery
  • Carry out FATs, SATs and on-site commissioning projects
  • Ensure all documentation is updated regularly, particularly user manuals, BOMs and technical specification packs
  • Perform integrations of modern controls software with existing legacy systems
  • Maintain and improve control across a range of special purpose machinery and equipment, including servo control systems, rotary systems, conveyors and packaging machinery
