Express Recruitment is delighted to be working exclusively with a long-standing machinery supplier based in the East Midlands. Due to continued growth throughout the UK, our client requires an experienced and suitably qualified Service Engineer who specialises in CNC metal or wood-based machines. The successful candidate will be required to regularly travel throughout the south of the UK including occasional overnight stays. In return, the successful candidate will receive a salary of £45,000 OTE, a company car and fuel card. Please only apply if you are flexible with working hours and travel.
Skills & Experience
- Full Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship or similar qualification
- Proven experience maintaining and installing CNC and/or manual based metal/woodworking machines
- Possess a full clean UK driver’s license
- Be flexible with travel and working hours
- Educated to electrical apprenticeship standard or equivalent
- Be a confident communicator on all levels
Roles & Responsibilities
- Attend client sites and perform maintenance, servicing, and installation on a range of manual and CNC based woodworking machines
- Carry out electrical and mechanical repairs on various machine types
- Maintain an accurate fault log report on all works carried out
- Support decommissioning of machines ready for machine relocations
- Work towards tight deadlines
- Manage own diary effectively
